Music Ministries
The Woodward First United Methodist Church offers three groups to use your musical talent to worship the Lord. They are as follows:
CHANCEL CHOIR: The Chancel Choir is comprised of approximately thirty men and women. The choir practices every Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and performs for the 10:50 worship service every Sunday morning. The choir also performs at special events and takes a break in mid June to July. New members are always welcome!
AGAPE RINGERS: The Agape Ringers consists of twelve handbell ringers. The ringers practice every Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and perform for special occasions and events. The ringers break in May and return in September. Sight reading ability is required. New members are also welcome.
PRAISE BAND: The FUMC has a praise band that performs for the early service (8:30 a.m.) that practices every Wednesday from 8:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Any instrumentalists or vocalists are welcome to join in the fun! The Chancel Choir and Agape Ringers are led by Marita Reichenberger, and the Praise Band is led by Kris Bell. Please feel free to call the church (256-5515) for more information.
